Day
1 : Danang - Kontum
From
Danang, you'll travel up to Kontum (200km) across the picturesque Kon
Plong Plateau. Admire the sights of H’re tribe villages around
Ba To and endless forested mountains en route. The day ends in the small
town of Kontum where French missionaries first set foot in the Central
Highlands in 1848. In the evening, attend a tribal folk show performed
by children at Vinh Son Orphanage. Overnight in Kontum.
Day 2 : Kontum
Before leaving for Plei Konang by car (14km), visit an exhibition on
the lifestyle, customs and spiritual beliefs of the Bahnar people. Take
an exciting trek to Kon Monang (6km) on a jungle trail to discover more
about exotic flora and fauna.
Then
paddle an inflatable raft or dug-out canoe on the Dak Bla River to the
Bahnar tribe village of Kon Ktu. Stop on a white sandy bank circled
by hills, forests and clear water for a picnic lunch and a swim. Visit
Kon Ktu Village, many still retaining the ancient way of life. The day
ends with a gong show with villagers including young women and old men
in traditional dress dancing around a bonfire. Drive to Kontum. Overnight
in Kontum.
Day
3 : Kontum - Pleiku
Leave for Pleiku (50km), a busy town, home to the J’rai hill-tribe,
on a fertile basaltic plateau at the height of 1,000 metres above sea
level. Onwards to Plei Kia Village (60km) for a fun elephant ride through
J’rai villages, rice fields, forests and streams. Have a picnic
lunch under a canopy of leaves by Ia Nhi Falls. Return to Pleiku. Overnight
in Pleiku.
Day 4 : Ban Me Thuot
Drive to Don Minority Village. Visit Elephant Training Farm, Laos King’s
Tomb, Serepoc River and Cable Wooden Bridge of 1,400 m. Lunch. Visit
Lak Lake, Lien Son Townlet and Jun and Le Minority Village of M’Nong.
Optionally take an elephant ride and boat ride to visit the village.
Dinner. Join the folk show with M’Nong people. Overnight in Ban
Me Thuot.
Day
5 : Ban Me Thuot - Dalat
Shop at the highland market. Visit Dray Sap and Dray Nu Waterfall. Drive
to Dalat in the afternoon.
Day
6 : Dalat – Langbiang– Dalat
Visit Valley of Love, Domaine De Marie Church and King Bao Dai’s
Summer Palace. Lunch. Visit Bich Cau Flower Garden, Lat Minority Village,
Langbiang Mountain and Dalat Jam Shop.
Day
7 : Dalat– Prenn Waterfall – Dalat
Visit Prenn Waterfall, Truc Lam Pagoda and Tuyen Lam Lake. Optionally
take a boat ride to King Bao Dai’s Waterfall and Picnic Area.
Lunch. Visit a Chinese Pagoda named Thien Vuong Co Sat and the Lake
of Sighs. Overnight in Dalat.
Day
8 : Dalat - Saigon
Drive to Ho Chi Minh City in the morning. Tour ends after lunch in Saigon.

include a visit to the world-famous Ethnographic Museum, with its
many exhibits explaining the history and customs of the hill tribes.
